Steve
Fisher was employed in a truck body factory, developing expertise in
the application of finishes to a variety of surfaces. In the evenings
and after hours, he developed a clientele in the residential community
painting interiors and exteriors, and providing some painting to local
contractors. In 2003, when it became apparent that this part-time exercise showed promise as a full-time venture, Steve left his former position, and went full-time in the finishing business, taking on subcontractors to assist him in his increasing workload. From those humble beginnings, and in a relatively short time, Steve's Painting Services, LLC has become recognized for offering premium results, and as one of the fastest growing full-service finishing and improvement companies in Ohio. |
| Who We Are Today |
 Our
current regular staff consists of two full-time
estimators and project managers, six painting
professionals, and two finish carpenters. We cross-train, to insure those we use have
skills in a variety of areas, and that all employees can be called on to provide whatever service we offer. We maintain relationships
with qualified area subcontractors for use on an as-needed basis,which allows us to respond rapidly to changes in job size and urgency. We maintain a bucket van,
three service vehicles, and a large enclosed trailer.We opened our new
headquarters at the end of 2006, offering us the space to perform
off-sitepainting and restoration of fixtures, doors, and even vehicles. Approximately 2/3 of our work historically serves the residential community. The balance is a mixof damage restoration and commercial subcontracting. We have expanded to serve commercial applications beyond Ohio's borders. Steve's
Painting Services maintains one of the stronger accounts in its class
with theSherwin-Williams company, and has accounts with Lowe's and Home Depot. Key personnel maintain an above average credit rating with all current suppliers and creditors. Steve's
Painting Services is
bonded and insured, and can secure additional performance
bonding for a
variety of commercial subcontracting services. BWC, PW compliant. We are nearing finalization of the process to serve as a contracted provider for the HomeWeatherization Assistance Program (HWAP). This process involves screening all participating employees and subcontractors (BCI Checks), carrying sufficient insurance, and participating in extensive training. More details as this process continues. |
